Amber is a REALLY nice lady...she really cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Dont let her nice personality fool u...she is actually a really hard teacher! She expects ALOT out of her class. The exams were very hard. Half our class failed the exams. They cover LOTS of material. The project takes a lot of work and is worth alot of the grade. If you do the project, thats not enough, she expects everyone to go above and beyond thier capibilities. Overall, REALLY REALLY nice lady, but very hard class for the topic of material covered. Stick with it, and you will enjoy her!

Amber is awesome! I got a 3.0 in the class but I could have done better. She lectures but she gets through the lecture quick not to waste her or your time. Amber is also really involved with her students so she will help you out if you have trouble. The class is strait forward so if you just do the work its an easy 3.0. The only problem I could see in it is the tests because there is only 2 of them and they cover a lot of information. The rest of the class is group work and 2 papers. It has been one of my favorite classes at MSU!

Amber is a great instructor. She works with the students very closely, she is flexible, and the workload is reasonable. The only negative part about the class was the last exam was extremely difficult compared with the first two, which were reasonably easy if you studied. There are 3 essays on the exams, matching, true/false, and multiple choice questions. She was very flexible with the infamous "dreaded" group project and ours only came out to be around 25 pages including graphs and pictures (i've heard others say they've had instructors that required 50 or more pages). You definitely have to work in this class and hope that you get responsible group members if you want to do well. There are random quizzes, which can be annoying, but it's not too bad if you skim the chapter. Overall, I would recommend Amber for this class -- she is a very nice lady, cares about her students, and offers extra credit opportunities to help beef up your grade for the difficult final.

very nice and knows what she's talking about. she is very helpful but the lectures are pointless. you enter the class thinking that it will be simple... but all of the sudden you get bombarded with tons of work. before going into the final i had 573 out of 600 ... 94%. the final will TOTALLY screw you over! impossible. over 16 chapters and a huge waist of time to even study for. they make it seem like its pretty easy... well when you end up with a 62% on it, you pretty much feel like all the work you did the entire semester was a HUGE WASTE OF TIME! just be prepared for a lot of work!
